Storage Space is an ongoing archive of architecture and design work by Darcy Engle.

Darcy Engle is an architectural designer, researcher, and educator working currently as a Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Virginia School of Architecture. She has co-taught various design research studios and is currently teaching graduate design studio.
Darcy received a Master of Architecture with Urban Design Certification from UVA (2019), where she received the AIA Henry Adams Medal for Excellence in Architecture. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from SUNY Buffalo State College (2016) where she was awarded the Marie Dellas Creative Achievement Award. Prior to graduate education, she worked for two years in interior design, architecture, and lighting design firms in Buffalo, New York. In 2019-2020 she was the Yamuna River Project Research Fellow and a Research/Teaching Fellow for Urban Strategies. Her academic work has received recognition in several national and international awards such as the Architecture Masterprize in 2018 and ARCHITECT Magazine Studio Prize in 2019.
